Seafood Chowder Soup

If you love restaurants clam chowder, it is easy to make at home with fresh little neck clams, garlic, onions, potatoes, and cream. I like more seafood in the chowder, so I made it with scallops, cod and seafood combo.

  Ingredients:
1 pack Seafood combo mix
1 lb Scallops
1 lb Cod (optional)
5-6 yellow potatoes cubed
1 onion
1-2 carrots
4 tbs flour
5 cups water
2 cups heavy whipping cream
Salt, bay leaf, parsley flakes, dill

I bough this seafood combo and scallops at Asian Market. Rinse all seafood.

First cut onion into small cubes.
Saute until golden brown.

Boil water. Cut potatoes in small cubes.

Cut carrots into small pieces. Add to boiling water, add bay leaf.
Add potatoes and salt. Add cod few min later.
When onion gets golden brown you can add more butter and then flour. I been making it new way now just mix flour with some cold water and then add it to the onion. Then you dont need the extra butter.
Mix well.
Add heavy whipping cream to the onion.
Add seafood to the cream. Bring it to a boil.
Add dill, parsley flakes.
It will become thick.
By this time potatoes will be ready. Add seafood to the potatoes.
Boil for 5 min. Turn it off.
Enjoy!!!
